Victorville shooting suspect, 18, turns himself in to police
A deadly shooting in Victorville, California has led to the arrest of an 18-year-old suspect, authorities announced Friday.

Victim and suspect identified in starshine drive shooting
Deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department were called to the 13000 block of Starshine Drive on Sunday, March 29 at around 3:30 pm for reports of gunfire. Upon arriving at the scene, they found a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency responders rushed the victim, later identified as 22-year-old Victorville resident Elias Victor Marcell Brooks, to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
As the investigation progressed, 18-year-old Fontana resident Michael Christopher Gallardo turned himself in at the Upland Police Department on Friday, and was subsequently taken into custody. He was booked for murder and remains behind bars without bail.
