Storm dave to bring heavy snow and gales to uk over easter
Severe weather warnings have been issued across northern parts of the UK as Storm Dave is expected to cause significant Travel disruption during the Easter weekend.

Heavy snow and gale-force winds forecast
The Met Office has warned of heavy snowfall and blizzards in Scotland, potentially disrupting power and causing some Travel chaos, with up to 30 centimeters of snow predicted to fall in some areas. Meanwhile, an amber severe weather warning has been issued for parts of northern England, Scotland and Wales from Saturday evening, with winds potentially reaching 90mph and flying debris posing a risk to life.
Network Rail Scotland has also warned that rail services may be affected, particularly on the Ayrshire coast, the east coast mainline and in the north-east. As a result, motorists are advised to check their routes before heading out over the Easter weekend.
However, there is a glimmer of hope as temperatures are expected to rise significantly after Easter Monday, with the mid-20s forecast for next week, making up for the cold snap.
