Houshmand initially held a commanding lead, needing a 9.50-point ride to advance. The women’s competition saw Sawyer Lindblad claim a thrilling victory over Alyssa Spencer, while Carissa Moore dominated Bettylou Sakura Johnson. The men’s semi-finals pit Dora against Italo Ferreira, and Colapinto against Filipe Toledo. The final clashes of the competition are set for Monday on the Gold Coast.
