Detroit tigers' parker meadows suffers concussion after head-on collision with riley greene
Tigers center fielder Parker Meadows was hospitalized overnight after a frightening collision with teammate Riley Greene as they converged for a fly ball during Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Twins.

Greene made the catch, meadows landed hard on his back
Greene snagged the shallow fly to left-center, but Meadows, who had been tracking the ball, slammed into Greene's head as they both sprinted for the ball. Meadows crumpled to the grass on his back, barely moving, with blood appearing on his face.
