Bulls snap seven-game skid with dominant 129-98 win over wizards

In a much-needed statement victory, the Chicago Bulls coasted past the NBA's worst team, the Washington Wizards, 129-98 on Tuesday night at the United Center.

Bulls seize control early, never look back

Behind a career-high 26 points from guard Rob Dillingham and 20 points from forward Patrick Williams, Chicago took control from the opening tip and never relinquished it.

The Bulls led 38-18 after one quarter, with Williams and Dillingham combining for 22 of those points. By halftime, the margin had swollen to 66-37 as the Wizards struggled to find any semblance of offense.

Washington's misery continued in the third, as Chicago extended its lead to a staggering 100-63 entering the final period.

In the end, the Bulls' season-high 129 points were more than enough to secure the 31-point victory, snapping a seven-game losing streak in the process.

For the Wizards, the loss marked their seventhconsecutive defeat and 23rd in their last 24 games. Center Bilal Coulibaly provided some rare bright spots with 19 points, but his efforts were ultimately overshadowed by the Bulls' dominant performance.

Chicago will look to continue its newfound momentum Thursday night when the two teams meet again in Washington.
