Fatal shooting in beaver falls linked to aliquippa incident

Authorities are investigating whether Saturday's deadly shooting in Beaver Falls is connected to an earlier shooting in Aliquippa.

Beaver County District Attorney Nate Bible said the armed individuals who opened fire at Valley Terrace on Monday evening likely had a specific person or group in their sights.

Monday's incident around 7:15pm saw shots fired into the B Building, but no one was struck. Sources indicate a relative of 28-year-old Stephon Peake, who was murdered on a Beaver Falls porch Saturday night, may have been inside that building at the time.

Bible explained the shootings occurred in close proximity, but the exact nature of the connection remains unclear.
