Bob dylan returns to twin cities for mystic lake amphitheater debut

Legendary musician Bob Dylan will bring his iconic sound back to his Minnesota roots with a highly anticipated show at the newly constructed Mystic Lake Amphitheater this summer.

The 84-year-old folk icon kicks off his 2026 tour in the state where he was born and raised

Dylan, who launched his current trek in March, will perform on July 6, joined by special guests Lucinda Williams and the John Doe Folk Trio. Tickets for the 19,000-seat venue's inaugural event will be available through a presale starting Wednesday at 10 a.m. and a general sale on Friday at the same time.

The Mystic Lake Amphitheater, situated on 37 acres in Shakopee, Minnesota, promises to become the state's largest outdoor music venue. It will open this summer with a diverse lineup of 30 events, including a June 22 stop from rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
