Documentary director slams new jackson biopic as 'pedophile-pandering'

Dan Reed, the director of the 2019 documentary Leaving Neverland, has accused the new Michael Jackson biopic, Michael, of whitewashing the late pop star's alleged child sexual abuse. In an interview with Variety, Reed claimed the film fails to confront Jackson's predatory relationship with minors.

Distorted portrayal
