Man ramms car, injures multiple after domestic incident in clairton

Clairton police are investigating a chaotic Monday morning incident where a man allegedly drove his vehicle into another car and a former service station, resulting in multiple injuries and an ongoing manhunt.

The incident began shortly after 8 a.m. at the intersection of Fifth Street and St. Clair Avenue. According to police reports, the man first struck a vehicle from behind, sending it careening into a former service station, collapsing its wooden awning.

The driver of the struck vehicle was then reportedly assaulted by the man who initiated the chain of events. A bystander intervened, preventing further harm to the woman in the car.

First responders arrived to find multiple individuals injured. The woman and her passenger were transported to a local hospital, while a juvenile occupant of the vehicle struck initially was also hospitalized. All injuries are currently listed as stable.
