Easter sunday brings egg-ceptional dallas weather

A cool start to Easter Sunday in Dallas-Fort Worth, but plenty of sunshine on the way.

Springtime temperatures arrive

Grab the jacket if you're heading out for early morning church services or Easter egg hunts, as temperatures begin the day in the cooler mid-50s. But as the morning progresses, a gentle north breeze will usher in warmer air.

By the afternoon, highs will climb into the low 70s, making for an 'egg-ceptional' forecast perfect for outdoor activities with family and friends.

Looking ahead to the start of next week, the unseasonably cool pattern will continue, with highs expected to remain in the low 70s and plenty of sunshine in the forecast.

However, an active weather pattern is expected to return by the end of the week, driven by a southerly wind, increase in moisture, and a few disturbances. The Climate Prediction Center is also forecasting above normal precipitation to arrive by next weekend.
