Authorities have taken into custody Tuften Green, 21; Roberto Morel, 51; and Terrell Adams, 38, following an incident on March 28th where they targeted a Toyota Sienna near mile marker 324.9 in Tredyffrin Township. The scene unfolded shortly after 7:30 PM, leaving the driver critically injured.
Initial reports indicate the suspects, utilizing a Chevrolet Suburban equipped with fake lights to mimic a police vehicle, attempted to rob the occupants. Green and Adams approached the victim’s vehicle, falsely identifying themselves as officers and demanding valuables. When the driver, understandably suspicious, attempted to flee, a volley of gunfire erupted, striking him in the chest.
A passenger, a child – miraculously unharmed
Remarkably, a female passenger and a 3-year-old child inside the vehicle were spared injury. This highlights the sheer recklessness of the suspects’ actions and the potential for a far more devastating outcome.
State Police have charged Green and Adams with multiple felonies, including attempted first-degree murder, impersonating a public servant, conspiracy to commit criminal homicide, aggravated assault, robbery, and kidnapping to facilitate a felony.
