Colorado man pulls swimmer from frozen lake after plunge ends

“I was amazed the man running didn’t break through the ice himself,” Lapierre recounted. Evergreen Fire Rescue crews arrived promptly and treated the rescued man at the scene. The rescued man declined transport to the hospital, but was escorted back to his car by the fire department.
