Former Feeding Our Future Lieutenant Pleads Not Guilty Amid $5 Million Bribery Scheme

Abdikerm Eidleh, once a key figure in the Feeding Our Future program, stood before a federal court Friday and entered a plea of not guilty to 31 charges, including wire fraud and money laundering. The investigation, spearheaded by the FBI and Somali intelligence agencies, culminated in Eidleh’s arrest in Mogadishu after a four-year period of evasion. U.S. Attorney Daniel Rosen characterized the case as a significant victory, stating that Eidleh was a ‘key leader’ responsible for coercing businesses into diverting public funds intended for children in need.

Bock has already been sentenced to 40 years in prison for her role in the elaborate fraud.
