Naked driver arrested after crash following failed escape

DENVER – A bizarre late-night arrest in the Denver metro area involved a driver found unclothed after a vehicle crash following a police pursuit. The incident, which began on Wadsworth Boulevard, culminated in a multi-vehicle collision and left two people with minor injuries.

Driver flees police, causes pileup

Lakewood Police Department officers initiated a traffic stop on an Infiniti sedan exhibiting erratic driving behavior. The driver reportedly sped north on Wadsworth Boulevard, disregarding the initial request to pull over.

Instead of pursuing the suspect, officers abandoned the traffic stop when the vehicle ran a red light at Alameda Avenue. This resulted in a chain reaction accident involving multiple vehicles.

“The driver was apprehended at the scene,” stated a Lakewood Police Department spokesperson. “Upon arrival, officers were surprised to find the individual was naked.”
