Romania, Bulgaria and Greece are implementing temporary traffic restrictions for vehicles over certain weight limits on key roads during the Easter holiday period.
Romanian restrictions
From April 9 to 13, vehicles over 7.5 tonnes will face restrictions on select national roads and routes to popular tourist areas, including the Carpathian mountains and the Black Sea coast.
Exact timeframes vary by day: Thursday, 16:00-22:00 on A2 and DN39, 18:00-22:00 on DN7; Friday (Good Friday), 06:00-22:00 on A2, DN7, and DN39; and so on.
Bulgarian restrictions
Heavy vehicles over 12 tonnes will be banned from the busiest sections of Trakia, Hemus and Struma motorways as well as I-1 in Blagoevgrad from April 9-10 and April 13.

Greece will restrict vehicles over 3.5 tonnes on major national roads and motorways from April 9-14, with varying hours each day.
Times include Thursday, 15:00-22:00; Friday (Good Friday), 06:00-16:00; and Monday, 12:00-22:00.
