Curry's clutch plays lead warriors past kings

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry's return from injury was marked by clutch performances as the Warriors snapped a four-game losing streak with a 110-105 win over the Sacramento Kings.

Curry, who missed 27 games due to a right knee injury, came off the bench for the second straight game and shot 5 for 12, including a pair of four-point plays. His second four-point play, at 2:39 before halftime, put the Warriors ahead 60-44. He tied the game at 104 with a three-pointer in the final minutes before assisting on a go-ahead three from Brandin Podziemski.

Kings rookie Maxime Raynaud had 17 points and eight rebounds on his 23rd birthday. Killian Hayes scored 18 points off the bench in the Kings' sixth loss in eight games.

Curry's performance has him in line to start again Thursday against the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James. The Warriors are all but locked into the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference for the play-in tournament next week.
